Family Support Worker (Maternity Cover)
Salary £21,600 (pro rata)
14hrs pw (fixed term until 31/10/2014)
You will have a clear understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on children and young people, along with knowledge and experience of child protection issues and 2 years’ experience of working with children in a professional setting.
You must be registered with the SSSC or be eligible to register. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

Advocacy Worker x 5 posts (funded until 31/05/15)
3 x posts at 35 hrs pw
2 x posts at 17.5 hrs pw (salary pro rata)
(We are looking to appoint one fluent Polish speaker)
EDDACS provides court support, advocacy, risk assessment and multi-agency work to reduce the risks and improve safety for women, children and young people in respect of domestic abuse.
You will have a clear understanding of domestic abuse and its impacts, together with knowledge and experience of child protection issues, risk assessment and safety planning. You will have an understanding of the court process and Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences.

Training Worker (Fixed term 1 Year)
Salary £21,600 pro rata
14 hrs pw
The role of the training worker will be to provide high quality training, talks and awareness raising sessions to external agencies, organisations and groups.
